Influential English filmmaker, Alfred Hitchcock, hand-signed page which Hitchcock has additional sketched his famous self-portrait caricature on. The sketch is significant as Hitchcock’s self-portrait sketch was also the series logo for “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”. On May 9th, 1960 Hitchcock had visited the Australia hotel for an interview promoting his latest film Psycho, almost certainly when this piece was signed.

Caricature and signature have faded slightly, horizontal and vertical paper folds through center, previously matted and mounted to board stock, some areas of light soiling and general toning with age, area of glue residue on reverse. Page itself measures approx. 4"x6.5" and with matting measures approx. 6.25"x8.5".
