About Us

History Runs in the Family

What began in the 1980s as a printed publication for autograph collectors, co-founded by William Farlie, was reignited decades later when his son, Ryan, joined with him to build something new. With William’s deep love for history and Ryan’s expertise in acquisitions and sales, the two turned a shared passion into a thriving full-time business. Today, The Signaturist-Ink reflects a generational dedication to preserving authentic historical autographs and artifacts, combining creative roots with trusted scholarship and a forward-looking approach to collecting.

Built on Trust, Backed by Experts

Every item we offer is held to the highest standard of authenticity and significance. Each document and item is hand-examined and thoroughly reviewed by us before being offered for sale.

Unlike most dealers, where possible we require third-party authentication for each item we sell. We work only with the most trusted experts in the industry. We’re committed to transparency, provenance, and historical integrity, because we know that trust is everything in this field.
