7th President of the United States ANDREW JACKSON authentic circa 1803 handwritten autograph document signed as Judge on the Tennessee Superior Court. At the time, the Superior Court served as the state's highest court - functioning as a supreme court. Jackson served the court for 6 years. Signed with a deep underline flourish at conclusion.


Jackson dockets, "Judge of the Superior Court of Law and Equity for the state afore said and made Oath that the matters and things set forth in his Petition are True to the best of his knowledge Sworne (sic) to and subscribed before me, the day + year aforesaid. Andrew Jackson"
