An excellent pass that would've put you in the NASA mission control room to witness man's first step on the Moon! Scarce original NASA Apollo 11 Mission Control historic "First Manned Lunar Landing" Pass entitling the bearer to access the Mission Control Center in Houston, TX from the exact date of the historic moon landing.
This laminated pass is in the vertical configuration and was issued to John Boynton, a (KMSC) Kennedy Manned Spacecraft Center engineer in the Mission Planning and Analysis Division. During Apollo 11, Boynton served double duty as a radio announcer covering the lunar landing.
A similar used example of this same access badge recently sold at auction for $2250.
Condition is as shown, with yellowing and cracking to laminate consistent with age, use and wear. Pass measures appx. 2.5" x 3.5" and is encapsulated in a 4.25" x 7.25" PSA holder.
