The photo shows the Apollo 12 crew leaving the Kennedy Space Center's (KSC) Manned Spacecraft Operations Building during the Apollo 12 prelaunch countdown. They rode a special transport van over to Pad A, Launch Complex 39, where their spacecraft awaited. Apollo 12 liftoff occurred at 11:22 a.m. (EST), Nov. 14, 1969.
