Ferrari signs the bright yellow front cover atop the famous "Prancing Horse" logo. A choice pairing of the legendary Ferrari founder with what would become one of the crown jewels of the Ferrari racing heritage.
The brochure was intended as Ferrari's technical introduction to the 1979 Ferrari 312 T4 Formula 1 car while it was still essentially in development, noting that the car represented a groundbreaking advancement in aerodynamic direction, adding that things in "the version presented" like an engine modification program were "still under development".
A massive technical success, the Ferrari 312 T4 "slipper" was a highly famous Formula 1 race car manufactured by Scuderia Ferrari to compete in the 1979 Formula 1 season. It completely dominated the F1 series, winning both the F1 Drivers' Championship and the F1 Constructors' Championship. It was the last Ferrari car to win the Drivers' Title while team founder Enzo Ferrari was still alive.
