Legendary 35th President of the United States JOHN F. KENNEDY very early authentic autograph typed letter signed on Congressional letterhead dated February 15, 1947. Freshman Congressman Kennedy had just been sworn in less than 6 weeks earlier. A fantastic, bold textbook example of among JFK's earliest Congressional signatures at conclusion. 


The 29-year old Kennedy ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in 1946 and won the election representing Massachusetts 11th Congressional District, taking office on January 3, 1947. 


In the note, JFK thanks a gentleman correspondent for forwarding a reprint of an article, "Are We Starving To Death" and adds that "...it will be a valuable addition to my folder on health."
