JFK WHITE HOUSE LETTER JUST DAYS BEFORE HIS ASSASSINATION IN DALLAS

Legendary 35th President of the United States JOHN F. KENNEDY hand-signed, lengthy October 1, 1963 WHITE HOUSE typewritten letter signed AS PRESIDENT soliciting participation in the role of a Presidential economic advisory task force on foreign savers investments. This letter from the President to George F. James of Socony-Mobil Oil Company comes just one month before JFK's fateful Dallas trip in November, 1963.

Unfortunately, Kennedy's assassination the following month would derail the planned task force, however, President Lyndon Johnson would later tap James to serve in a different advisory capacity.

Condition is as shown. Letter has been trimmed on both left and right margins, and both pages previously mounted to cardboard. Only page 2 (the signature page) has been slabbed, however the first page will also accompany the slab.
