JOHN F. KENNEDY Senate Memorandum re: AUTOGRAPH PHOTOS Signed JACK * JSA

$2,600.00

Guaranteed Authentic

Legendary 35th President of the United States JOHN F. KENNEDY short authentic autograph handwritten note on United States Senate Memorandum stationery to his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, responding to a request for autograph photos to be sent, signed, "Jack".

In full: "Mrs. Lincoln: Have Helen Ar[range] this / Jack". Additional notation at upper right in unknown secretarial hand (possibly Evelyn Lincoln's) indicating, "Pictures".

Responding to a cheeky typewritten request to his busy Senate assistant from another Senate staffer, "Knowing all of the time you have on your hands, I thought I'd give you a little something to do", at the time, JFK was actively campaigning for the 1960 presidential nomination.

Evelyn Lincoln served as JFK's trusted personal secretary from the Senate through the White House. In one of the great conspiracy twists of all time, Abraham Lincoln had a secretary named, "Kennedy", while JFK had a secretary named, "Lincoln".

The JFK handwritten autograph note has been thoroughly reviewed and CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC BY JSA (JAMES SPENCE AUTHENTICATION) EXPERT EXAMINATION. GUARANTEED GENUINE. An investment-quality acquisition for any collection or investment portfolio.

Condition is as shown, consistent with age, use and handling.  Stationery measures appx. 5.25" x 8".
