ENOLA GAY Pilot Air Force Brigadier General PAUL W. TIBBETS authentic autograph index card signed in blue ink pen denoting his role stamped below as "Pilot of the ENOLA GAY / Hiroshima, Japan 6 Aug. 1945".
The ENOLA GAY was named after Enola Gay Tibbets, the mother of the pilot. The Enola Gay was a Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber that became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb in warfare. The bomb, code-named "Little Boy" was targeted at the city of Hiroshima, Japan, and destroyed about 3/4 of the city.
The Tibbets autographed index card has been thoroughly reviewed and CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC by PSA/DNA Authentication Services expert examination, and has been slabbed inside PSA/DNA's proprietary sonically-sealed encapsulate. UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED GENUINE.
