AN EXCEPTIONAL ARTIFACT OF RFK's 1964 CAMPAIGN VISIT TO KANSAS CITY

American politician, Attorney General, Senator and martyred Presidential Candidate ROBERT F. KENNEDY authentic autograph along with a woman's white glove that shook his hand while campaigning on June 15, 1964. RFK was in Kansas City for a series of campaign events while running for the United States Senate. Kennedy signs in black ink pen on a small 3" x 3.75" scrap of paper.

The Kennedy autograph is annotated in an unknown hand (presumably that of the recipient) as "June 15, 1964 / Signature of Robert Kennedy / Kansas City Air Terminal." The accompanying white glove is similarly annotated as, "June 15, 1964 / Robert Kennedy / shook his hand / Kansas City Air Terminal."

Just three years after his brother, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas, RFK himself would fall to an assassin’s bullet on June 5, 1968, in Los Angeles, the night of his victory in the California Democratic primary. His shocking death at age 42 robbed America of one of its most promising leaders and forever cemented his legacy as a martyr for progress, civil rights, and hope.

The RFK autograph has been thoroughly examined and CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC BY PSA/DNA EXPERT EXAMINATION and encapsulated using PSA/DNA's proprietary sonically-sealed techology. UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED GENUINE. Purchase includes accompanying white glove.

NOTE: Photos of RFK's June 15, 1964 to Kansas City are shown FOR REFERENCE ONLY and are NOT included in the auction. Please ask any questions if unclear.

Condition is as shown, with visible signs of age, wear and handling. Paper measures appx. 3" x 3.5". Accompanying glove measures appx. 4" x 9". Glove is noted as in worn, used condition with signs of age, use and handling.
