World-renowned artist SALVADOR DALI hand-signed original typewritten Certificate of Authenticity for the 1964 "Statue of Liberty" etching from his New York City portfolio.  Authentically signed with a splendid, large 4.5" blue ink pen signature as simply, "Dali ".

It appears that this original certificate might perhaps have been intended as a Master document, but then never used, or perhaps was intended to remain on file at the publisher's office. A rare and uncommon autograph document from the quirky Spanish surrealist. 

The Dali signed and numbered original "Liberty" etchings can sell for thousands – with some commanding as much as $20k - $45k. 

Dali attests, 

"To Whom It May Concer. (sic)
The edition entitled "Statue of Liberty" is an edition of 125 original etchings plus 10 artist's proofs made by me and signed by hand.

NOTE: several examples of "Newton's Ring" appear on the reverse side of the encapsulate (the rings that look like little air bubbles trapped inside) -- a common, harmless byproduct of the slabbing process of larger items, not affecting the autograph.
