Influential English filmmaker and director, ALFRED HITCHCOCK undated hand-signed autograph place card featuring his famous profile self-portrait. Hitchcock playfully inscribes "To -------------->" [Mrs. Lattimer] "with best wishes Alfred Hitchcock" and then adds the profile, and signs below.
Perhaps somewhat ironically, the small card has been enhanced with a small painting of a bird, given Hitch's association with his acclaimed thriller - "The Birds". The painting of the bird is in an unknown hand.
The self-caricature is significant as Hitchcock's self-portrait sketch also served as the series logo for the acclaimed "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" TV anthology series.
