The complete crew of APOLLO 11 -- the first mission to land on the Moon: NEIL ARMSTRONG, BUZZ ALDRIN, MICHAEL COLLINS scarce hand-signed vintage presentation commemorating the historic first lunar landing that put a man on the moon – and documenting the historic first words spoken from the surface printed in the upper right: "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Signed boldly by Armstrong in blue marker, Aldrin on a commemorative cover attached to the presentation in black pen, and Collins in black ink pen. Exceptionally collectible, the item also in undedicated making this the perfection addition to any collection.
The presentation appears to have been created to commemorate the first day of issue for the first man on the moon postage stamp. The stamp itself, released on September 9, 1969, was made from the same master die that the astronauts took with them to the moon. Additionally, it was the largest stamp the United States had issued up to that point. The cover signed by Aldrin attached to the presentation is postmarked the first day of issue as well as the date of the moon landing "July 20th, 1969".
