Guaranteed Authentic

Legendary "Dracula" author BRAM STOKER scarce handwritten letter fulfilling a ticket request for an upcoming performance at the Columbia College Theater by the renowned Victorian actor, Sir Henry Irving, on Lyceum Touring letterhead and signed at the conclusion in full as "Bram Stoker, acting manager".

During his lifetime Stoker was perhaps better known as the personal assistant of Henry Irving, and business manager of the Lyceum Theater in London, which Irving owned. He frequently wrote letters for Irving which Irving then later signed. Letters written and signed by Stoker are relatively uncommon, and desirable.

At the time of Stoker's letter, it would be nearly another two years before his magnum opus, "Dracula" would be published. Literary scholars have theorized that Stoker's tumultuous friendship with the charismatic Irving is said to be the true inspiration for the story's characters of DRACULA and VAN HELSING.

The Stoker letter has been thoroughly reviewed and certified AUTHENTIC BY PSA/DNA EXPERT EXAMINATION and sealed inside PSA/DNA's proprietary sonically-sealed encapsulate.  UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED GENUINE.

The Stoker letter is in good condition with some foxing and toning consistent with age, use and handling, as shown. Typical mailing folds. Previous signs of mounting
