SCARCE APOLLO 11 BETA CLOTH MISSION INSIGNIA FLOWN TO THE MOON ABOARD APOLLO 11, FROM ALDRIN'S PERSONAL COLLECTION AND GIFTED TO HIS SISTER, FAY.

American Space Hero BUZZ ALDRIN hand-signed large beta cloth mission patch FLOWN TO THE MOON ON APOLLO 11 originally from Aldrin's personal collection, then gifted to his sister, Fay Ann Aldrin Potter. With signed attestation from Aldrin on verso, "This is to certify that this patch printed on space suit material was carried to the Moon on Apollo 11 / July 20, 1969". Aldrin also signs below the patch with a fine blue ink pen signature.

Also includes signed Letter of Authenticity from HERITAGE AUCTIONS by Tom C. Potter, the son and Executor for the estate of Fay Ann Aldrin Potter, certifying that this flown beta cloth was given to his mother by her brother, Buzz Aldrin. Includes original Heritage Auctions receipt from the original "Space Exploration" sale in 2014 (please note, in the images of the auction receipt we have purposefully obscured the name and buyer details to protect original buyer's privacy).
