DAVID BEN-GURION Autograph Handwritten Letter Signed Israel PRIME MINISTER
Guaranteed Authentic
Israel's "Founding Father" and first Prime Minister of the State of Israel, DAVID BEN-GURION handwritten autograph note signed to a child dated December 26, 1969.
During Ben-Gurion's retirement at Sde Boker in the Negev and subsequent withdrawal from public service, he sends words of advice to his young correspondent, reinforcing his belief in the importance of youth in building Israel, as well as respect for their parents:
"26 December 1967
Dear girl, To Yael — greetings and blessings.
I hope that you will be a good girl, and do everything that your mother tells you, for everything your mother tells you, she says for your own good.
With blessings, David Ben-Gurion"
The Chairman of the Jewish Agency, Ben-Gurion formally declared the establishment of Israel on May 14, 1948. Posthumously, Ben-Gurion was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Important People of the 20th Century.
The BEN-GURION handwritten autograph letter has been thoroughly reviewed and CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC by PSA/DNA Authentication Services expert examination, and has been slabbed inside PSA/DNA's proprietary sonically-sealed encapsulate. UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED GENUINE.
Condition is as shown, with toning, paper loss, tape residue, stains consistent with age, use and handling. Small portion of paper missing at upper right and bottom right, tape stain running along left edge, and some small areas where Ben-Gurion's pen pushed through the paper creating a tear. Please review images carefully for exact condition.
NOTE: several examples of "Newton's Ring" appear on the reverse side of the encapsulate (the rings that look like little air bubbles trapped inside) -- a common, harmless byproduct of the slabbing process of larger items, not affecting the autograph or printed image.
