Lee Harvey Oswald assassin and Dallas nightclub owner, JACK RUBY, his personal small handwritten pocket-size notepad filled with nearly two dozen pages of various entries, contacts, phone numbers, and financial information.

In addition to an entry where Ruby notes, "also 10% of gross sales for closing deal", his mini notepad contains the assorted handwritten names and contact information for a TV show talent scout, photographers, a renowned furrier, talent agents, performers, reporters, and apparent political contacts – all the tools of the trade of a wily nightclub owner. According to people interviewed by law enforcement and the Warren Commission, Ruby was desperate to attract attention to himself and his club. He knew a great number of people in Dallas, but had only a few friends.
