Legendary Grateful Dead leader and musician JERRY GARCIA authentic autograph LIMITED EDITION offset lithographic print of Garcia's whimsical "Humiliation At The Animal Party" print, in vintage framed display. Limited to just 500 total prints, Garcia signs print #56/500 with a large, bold pencil signature on the mat at lower right. Accompanied by additional certification from The Art Peddler, Garcia's last art publisher.

Garcia was an avid lover of comics and cartoons. His sharp wit is evident throughout his artwork, depicting here a humorous sequel of sorts to the classic fable of the Tortoise and the Hare – a timeless tale of triumph and humility.

Garcia would typically only sign his prints as they were sold; Consequently, when he passed away in 1995, there wasn't a stockpile of signed pieces. For that reason, his authentic, hand-signed artwork is highly collectible today.

Perhaps best known as the singer/guitarist for the GRATEFUL DEAD, Garcia was a also a talented visual artist as well, completing a series of limited edition prints that showcased his talent and versatility. In subjects ranging from wild, colorful abstracts to surreal images of dragons, he displayed his quirky sense of humor as well as his exceptional artistic ability.
