JERRY GARCIA Signed Lithograph Grateful Dead ERUDITE GENTLEMAN Art Autograph PSA

Legendary Grateful Dead leader and musician JERRY GARCIA authentic hand-signed autograph original large format silkscreen print on paper of Garcia's whimsical "Erudite Gentleman" etching, in vintage framed display. Garcia signs with a beautiful bold pencil signature on the mat at lower right, along with a print number 61/300. 

Perhaps best known as the singer/guitarist for the GRATEFUL DEAD, Garcia was a visual artist long before he became a musician, famously referring to himself as "an artist who played music". His quirky depiction of a man deep in thought, first produced in 1990, was later used as the design for a line of Garcia neckties. 

Jerry Garcia would typically only sign his prints as they were sold; Consequently, when he passed away in 1995, there wasn't a stockpile of signed pieces. For that reason, his authentic, hand-signed artwork is highly collectible today.
