ROCKEFELLER typewritten autograph letter signed on his KIJKUIT estate personal letterhead, dated July 11, 1924 sending thanks and appreciation to Sally McCampbell – presumably for a birthday bouquet. (Rockefeller's birthday was three days earlier, on July 8).
With original JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER mailing envelope attached to verso of letter.
Sally's husband, Theron McCampbell, managed VOGUE magazine and was credited with the invention of the first dress pattern.
