Plourde was a baker in Fall River, MA who JFK had met while campaigning for his seat in the Senate. Kennedy ultimately chose Plourde for the prestigious job of baking his wedding cake. Kennedy writes to Plourde regarding a question raised for a Federal Housing Administration project in MA. Kennedy concludes by signing the letter with a beautiful and bold signature as "John Kennedy".
