Excellent provenance, all signatures were obtained by Kentucky Congressman Larry Hopkins. Item will ship in original tube displaying the address label from the White House to Larry Hopkins.
According to Morehead, "In September, 1968, with permission from the Office of President Lyndon B. Johnson, I set up my easel and canvas beneath a Lynden tree, just south of the West Wing and started painting, “The President’s Office on the White House.” This was the first of four trips to Washington...The painting was completed in 1969, after President Richard M. Nixon had taken office."
