MOTHER TERESA Autograph Endorsed BANK CHECK Signed 1990 * Catholic SAINT * PSA

Acclaimed Catholic Saint and Nobel Laureate Blessed MOTHER TERESA authentic endorsed bank check dated March 1990, signed on verso in blue ink  as "M. Teresa mc" (for her order, the Missionaries of Charity).

At the time, it was not uncommon for collectors to send a small check to Mother Teresa's charity in return for receiving her autograph. These canceled checks were eventually returned to the donor by the bank at a later date.

This item is also an informal touched relic, an item that Saint Teresa would have handled at the time of the signing.

The Saint Teresa autographed endorsement has been thoroughly reviewed and CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC BY PSA/DNA EXPERT EXAMINATION and encapsulated using PSA/DNAs proprietary sonically-sealed technology – your assurance of absolute authenticity. GUARANTEED GENUINE. An excellent acquisition for any collection.

The Vatican ascribes sainthood to people who it says have been proven to perform miracles after they die. After her death in 1997 at age 87, Teresa progressed rapidly on the road to Sainthood. According to the church, Teresa cured an Indian woman of a cancerous stomach tumor and a Brazilian man of a viral brain infection since then. Mother Teresa was beatified on October 19, 2003 and was known to Catholics as "Blessed". Pope Francis canonized her at a ceremony on September 4, 2016 at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City.
