CATHOLIC SAINT MOTHER TERESA EXCLAIMS GOD'S LOVE

Acclaimed Catholic Saint and Nobel Laureate Blessed MOTHER TERESA authentic autograph letter signed on her Missionaries of Charity letterhead, from her office in Calcutta, dated April 20, 1982. Signed at conclusion with her handwritten sentiment, "God bless you, M Teresa, MC" (Missionaries of Charity). 

Teresa thanks James P. Miscoll, an Executive at the Bank of America in Japan for his generous gift and says, "God love you for the love you give and the joy you share through your gift...to God's poor."

The Vatican ascribes sainthood to people who it says have been proven to perform miracles after they die. After her death in 1997 at age 87, Teresa progressed rapidly on the road to Sainthood. According to the church, Teresa cured an Indian woman of a cancerous stomach tumor and a Brazilian man of a viral brain infection since then. Mother Teresa was beatified on October 19, 2003 and was known to Catholics as "Blessed". Pope Francis canonized her at a ceremony on September 4, 2016 at a ceremony at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City.

NOTE: several occurrences of "Newton's Ring" appear on the reverse side of the encapsulate (the rings that look like little air bubbles trapped inside). This is an optical illusion and occasional byproduct of the slabbing process, not affecting the autograph.
