Legendary Boxer and one of the most consequential Sports figures of the 20th century, "The Greatest" – MUHAMMAD ALI – hand-signed and inscribed dramatic 11"x 14" color portrait of a scowling Ali, signed on the mat. Ali writes, "To AC and Delores / From / Muhammad Ali / September 4 - 78" with a beautiful, legible vintage full signature. In later years, Ali's signature was reduced to a much-simplified scrawl due to the progressive ravages of his Parkinson's diagnosis.
A global cultural icon, the always outspoken Ali's final record of 56 wins and 5 losses with 37 knockouts has been matched by others, but the quality of his opponents and the manner in which he dominated during his prime placed him on a plateau with boxing's immortals. Ali's most tangible assets were speed, superb footwork, and the ability to take a punch.
