RARE EARLY BEATLES PARLOPHONE PROMO CARD SIGNED BY McCARTNEY ON BEHALF OF ALL 4!

Legendary The BEATLES Singer-Songwriter PAUL MCCARTNEY rare, early authentic BEATLES Parlophone Records promo card signed on the reverse by Paul for all four. All 4 member's autographs are in the hand of Paul McCartney. It was not uncommon for members of the Fab Four to sign for each other in the frantic, early days of Beatlemania. McCartney inscribes "To Susan, love Paul McCartney" and pens additional "xxx" inscriptions beneath all four signatures.

Beatles autograph sets signed by the individual band members for each other are particularly collectible and especially prized among Beatles collectors.

The photo side of the circa 1963 promo card is notable for an image of the group in the studio at Abbey Road during their recording session for ‘Love Me Do’. Taken September 4, 1962 by famed Beatles photographer Dezo Hoffmann, it shows the Beatles in their final incarnation at the very beginning of their storied career. George sports the infamous black eye bestowed on him outside the Cavern Club by an irate fan retaliating for the band’s decision to dump drummer Pete Best less than three weeks before the photo was snapped. This highly-desirable promo card is one of the first depicting Ringo as a member of the band.

Today, McCartney, like his former bandmate Ringo Starr, has since revealed that after more than 60 years of international superstardom he has stopped signing autographs or posing for pictures with fans. Previously, he had been signing simply, "Paul" – making full signatures both scarce, collectible and desirable.
