Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble toured as the opening act for Robert Plant in May 1988 during Plant's "Non-Stop Go" tour. On May 26, Vaughan and Plant were appearing at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, MI.

Double Trouble was an American blues rock band from Austin, Texas, which served as the backing band for singer-guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. The group was active throughout the 1980s and contributed to reviving blues music, touring extensively around the world until August 1990, when Vaughan was killed in a helicopter crash at the age of 35.
