Legendary 26th President of the United States THEODORE ROOSEVELT cut signature oversized custom card featuring a striking sepia portrait of the handsome, rugged Roosevelt in his "Rough Riders" military attire, with a fine, full signature mounted below as, "Theodore Roosevelt". Also known as "Teddy", or "T.R.", Roosevelt was the President of the United States from 1901 to 1909; Roosevelt was previously involved in New York politics including serving as the state's 33rd Governor for  two years. It was during the Battle of San Juan Hill on July 1 that the Rough Riders under the command of Lt. Col. Roosevelt made their mark in American military history. Ordered to seize Kettle Hill in support of the main attack, the Rough Riders fought their way to the top despite heavy enemy fire.
