Guaranteed Authentic

American aviation pioneers, brothers, and co-inventors and builders of the first successful aircraft, ORVILLE & WILBUR WRIGHT, popularly known as the Wright Brothers, fantastic autograph pair of individually signed checks in PSA/DNA encapsulates.

Wilbur writes a check dated January 4, 1906 on behalf of "Wright Cycle Co." and also initialed "W.W." payable to "Meredith + Stolz" for $30.00, while Orville authentically signs a secretarially written check dated October 11, 1930 to "Fowlerton Bank" for $2.98.

Before turning their focus to aviation, the Wrights originally were prominent bicycle designers, builders and retailers opening the Wright Cycle Exchange in Dayton, OH in 1892. While Orville's autograph is typically more common, Wilbur's is notably scarce having died of Typhoid at the relatively young age of just 45 in 1912 – just 5 years after their historic first flight.

Condition of the checks is as shown, consistent with age, use and handling. Both checks bear perforated cancellations and/or bank stamps, with partial tear at center on Wilbur's check. Individual encapsulates measures appx. 5.5" x 12.5". Please review all images carefully for exact condition.
